Classic car owners will strut their stuff at Chipman & Taylor Chevrolet on Saturday.

This year marks the 25th Annual Classic Car Show, an event that provides the community with an opportunity to enjoy all things car related, said Mark Yrazabal, new car sales manager.

The car show will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Chipman & Taylor in Pullman.

The number of cars in the show has increased over the years, Yrazabal said. The amount of cars in the show leapt from 30 or 40 cars to 150 cars.

Chipman & Taylor turned the show into an extensive event with free soft drinks, coffee, hotdogs, and music.

On top of that, they offer visitors a Dash Plaque engraved with the show’s information. Yrazabal said these plaques are a commemorative item.

Trophies will also be available to those who win best in show, people’s choice and the top three in several categories.

The categories include modified, restored, muscle car and unrestored original, as well as 12 other classes.

While Chipman & Taylor organized and constructed most of the event, Yrazabal said, Jones Truck & Implement, Evergreen Tire and Heritage Wheel & Tire helped cover the cost of the trophies. Les Schwab of Pullman will also have other gifts for attendees.

Yrazabal said this provides an opportunity for people to show off their vehicles, as well as the chance for attendees to meet mechanics, upholsterers and other restorers.
