Thank you so much for the story about taking the elevator versus the stairs.
I have often wondered the same thing when I am puffing up the stairs in the morning and I see obviously fit students standing around waiting for the elevator.
It would be easier and faster for them to take the stairs, but they choose to wait in the cold. This not only happens outside the stadium, but also inside the CUB, in Todd and I'm sure other buildings.
The stairs outside the stadium do seem daunting, especially when it is cold and soon-to-be snowy. But, in regards to the indoor stairs, which are only a few flights, I do not understand at all.
I strongly encourage everyone to think about how far they have to go and consider using the stairs instead of taking up space in the elevator for people who need it: those with disabilities or heavy items.
